Choose the General tab, and press the Message Format button.
Select MIME formatting for your messages.
If you send messages using non-U.S. characters, you may wish to change the default character set. |

From the Connection tab, select how you connect to your Internet mailbox.
If your computer is connected to a local area network, select Connect using the network.
If you are using Dial-up Networking, then choose Connect using the modem, then select the dial-up profile you use to connect to Skye/net. |

| You can also choose whether or not to use the Remote Mail window in Outlook for Internet mail. It is recommended checking this option. Additionally, you can specify a log file to trace unusual or important mail events. |
