- Open Netscape.
- Click on Edit, then on Preferences.

- Double Click the plus (+) next to Mail & Newsgroups under Category.
- Select Identity under Mail & Newsgroups.

- Next to Your name, enter the name you wish to appear on the emails you send to others.
- For Email address, enter your email address. Your email address looks something like username@datacruz.com (i.e. support@datacruz.com).
- Select Mail Server under Mail & Newsgroups.
- Under Incoming Mail Servers click on Add.

- In the Server Name box, type pop.datacruz.com
- In the Server Type box, select POP3.
- In the User Name box, type your username. Your username is the first part of your email address. For example, if your email address was support@datacruz.com, then you would enter support here.
- Click on OK.

- Enter smtp.datacruz.com next to Outgoing mail (SMTP) server.
- Enter your username next to Outgoing mail server user name. Your username is the first part of your email address. For example, if your email address was support@datacruz.com, then you would enter support here.
- Click on OK.
