- Click Start, and select Control Panel.
- From the Control Panel, select Network and Internet Connections.
- Click Network Connections.
- Select Create a new connection from the sidebar on the left side.
- From the Network Connection Wizard, select Next to continue.
- Select Connect to the Internet, and click Next
- Select Set up my connection manually, and click Next
- Select Connect using a dial-up modem, and click Next
- Enter the name of your ISP as Datacruz, and click Next.
- Enter the phone number: (574)254-5420. Be aware that you will be responsible for any long-distance or other service charges incurred by using the number. Check with your phone company to verify if this number is free for you to dial. Click Next when you are finished.
You will be given the chance to make this connection available to anyone who uses the computer or just you. To make this available to any user's login, select the first option.
- Enter your login ID and password. You will have to enter your password again in the Confirm password field. Uncheck the box next to Turn on the Internet Connection Firewall for this connection, and click Next.
- When you are presented with the Completing the New Connection Wizard screen, click Finish.
