How do I attach a file to an outgoing email message?
- Create your message
- Select the Message -> Attach File menu item (or press CTRL + H)
- Navigate through your computer and double-click on the appropriate file name
NOTE: Selecting the Message -> Attach File menu item will automatically create a new message for you if you had not previously done so.
How do I access a file that is attached to an incoming email message?
- You will be notified by either the text 'Attachment Converted: "C:\EUDORA\ATTACH\FILENAME.EXT" or an icon at the very bottom of your email message if a file has been successfully decoded and saved onto your computer.
- Either double-click on the text or icon to automatically open the attached file, OR use Windows Explorer to navigate through your computer and then double-click on the file there.
NOTE: Older versions of Eudora may have difficulty decoding/saving file attachments if the default file attachment directory has not been set, or if that setting is incorrect. Information on how to configure the default file attachment directory can be found in the Setup section.
